Founded in 1995, simsa is with more than 150 members one of the most important and most active associations of information and communication technology as well as new media in Switzerland. Objective of simsa is to increase the added value to ICT services, new media services and software companies located in Switzerland, as well as the development, dissemination and use of computer science - based content and processes to promote digital technologies and digital business modells. The industry association is involved in a diverse network of domestic and international partner organizations. The simsa is a member of economiesuisse and the Swiss umbrella organization for information and communication technology ICTswitzerland. simsa is co-organizer of the annual award "Best of Swiss Web".
